Successful construction requires good quality aggregates. Payne & Dolan ensures the quality of its product by controlling each step of its production. We operate more than 100 active mines throughout the Midwest including some of the region’s largest mines producing in excess of several million tons annually and making us one of the largest aggregate producers in the Midwest.
Limestone and gravel is then crushed and sized to the proper particle sizes for the intended use at our crushing facilities. These facilities are located throughout the Midwest in order to economically meet the needs of our customers. (Some of the better known locations are Waukesha Lime and Stone, Franklin Aggregates and Midwest Aggregates located in northern Illinois.) Products include:
- Base Course (Dense, Open Graded, Select Crush, Breaker Run)
- Coarse Aggregates used in Asphalt Mix and Concrete Mixtures
- Fine Aggregates used in Asphalt Mix and Concrete Mixtures
- Crushed RAP (Recycled Asphalt Pavement)
- Crushed Concrete
- Rip Rap
- Clear Stone (#1, #2 & #3)
Material must then pass Payne & Dolan’s extensive quality control program conducted at state certified laboratories by highly qualified and trained technicians. That’s how we can be sure that Payne & Dolan aggregates will provide the best quality base for your successful project.
